3 DAY MOUNTAIN GORILLA SAFARI
Day 1: Morning departure from Kampala for the south with
stops at the craft village at the Uganda Equator for pictures and shopping. After lunch at the Lakeview Hotel
in Mbarara, proceed through the beautiful evergreen mountain country referred to as the "Little Switzerland".
Arrive late evening for dinner and overnight at campsite. Transit Time 8-10 hrs.

Day 2: Briefing by park ranger guides. Later with picnic lunch, start 30 minutes - 8 hours trek to find the
Mountain gorillas. The tracking starts at the area where the gorillas were

the previous day. After a full hour with
the gorillas, return to your accommodations for dinner and overnight at campsite.
Day 3: Transfer to Mbarara for lunch, Later depart for Kampala. Transit Time 8-10 hrs.

5 DAY GORILLA SAFARI IN UGANDA
Day 1:
Arrive Entebbe, met at
the airport by our representative and Take a 5 hour road transfer to
the Agip Motel for dinner and overnight stay. Day
2: Morning breakfast then take a 5 hour road transfer
on a very good road to the edge of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Home to the Mountain Gorillas. In the evening, take to the Munyaga
Trail to explore the Freshness of the Forest on a Nature walk along
the River Munyaga. Dinner and overnight at the Bwindi Tented
Camp. Day 3: After breakfast, report at the
park offices for a briefing by the ranger guides prior to the trek
to find the Mountain Gorillas with picnic lunch. The gorillas are
tracked, located and after approximately one hour with them, return
to base for a shower and cold drink. Dinner and overnight at Bwindi
Tented Camp. Day 4: Travel to Kabale For Lunch
at the Lake Bunyonyi where you could also take a Canoe ride to
explore the many Islands. Later, depart for Mbarara arriving for
dinner and night stay at the Agip Motel. Day
5: After morning breakfast transfer to Entebbe Aiport for your
afternoon flight out.

days (13 nights) Express Uganda Gorilla Trekking Safari. Murchison Falls
National Park, Kibale Forest National Park, Semliki National
Park, Queen
Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National
Park, Mgahinga Gorilla National Park (Virunga’s), Ssese
Islands, Jinja city tour, Entebbe.
Day1
After breakfast, drive to Murchison Falls National Park with
lunch enroute. Arrive at Paraa and take a ferry to the
northern bank of the River Nile. Dinner and over night Paraa
Safari lodge or Paraa Rest Camp. You take a drive to the “Top
of the falls” for a breathtaking sight of the raging Nile as
it forces it’s way through a rocky gap barely six meters wide.
Day Two
Start the day with an early morning game drive where you are
able to view those animals that are unique to the African
Savannah like giraffe, antelope, lion, elephant, and the
Uganda kob. The bird life is also impressive, with the eagle
being one of the prized sightings and the rare shoebill.
During your game drive request your guide to show you the
Congo Blue Mountains, on a clear morning. After lunch, you
will go for a launch cruise on the Nile River where you will
see huge crocodiles, schools of hippos, buffaloes, elephants
and a varietyof water birds.
Day Three
After early breakfast, drive to Fortportal. Have lunch enroute.
Enjoy the beautiful scenery across that part of the country.
Dinner and overnight Hotel in Fortportal.
Day Four
Go for an early morning chimpanzee viewing in Kibale National
Park. After lunch have an early afternoon nature walk to view
the butterflies and
other insects. Visit the tropical swamps and their vegetation.
Have a chance of seeing some water birds.
Have an evening tour of the crater region, visit “top of the
world’’, the natural bridge and a view of the snow cap on the
Rwenzori on a clear day. Return to your accommodation for
dinner and overnight – Fort Portal
Day Five
Visit the Semiliki National Park. This park has fantastic
scenery, hotsprings, forest jungle walk, birding, primates
viewing and River Semiliki meanders. At “Mungu Ni
Mukubwa’’while in the mountains,
the road offers scenic views of the meandering river, fuming
hotsprings and tropical rain forest. Visit the Batwa (pygmy)
community. Have a
picnic lunch at the Sempaya hotsprings.
Return and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, dinner and
overnight Mweya safari lodge or Hostel.
Day Six
Rise before the sun and drive to Kyambura Gorge for a
thrilling Chimpanzee safari. Your guided walk may last three
to five hours and in addition to seeing the chimps, the trip
may yield sightings of the
colobus monkeys, baboons, red tailed and vervet monkeys, and
other primates.
It is important to note that the chimpanzee safari is subject
to availability
of permits and good weather because occasional flooding can
make the trails impassable.
Return to the lodge for lunch and take an afternoon boat
cruise on the Kazinga channel. that joins Lakes Edward and
George. It is a waterway that is filled with schools of
hippos, buffaloes, and elephants, which can be seen at the
banks.
There are also a rich variety of birds on the channel. After
lunch rest and prepare for an evening game drive to the crater
area. Return for dinner and overnight at lodge (Mweya) or
Hostel.
Day Seven
Rise for an early game drive. The park boasts of a variety of
big game like; lions, buffaloes, kobs,
elephants, bushbucks, and the rare occasional leopard. After
an early lunch, drive to Bwindi impenetrable forest National
Park. Have lunch enroute, dinner and overnight Buhoma
Homestead or Community bandas.
Day Eight
After breakfast set off early with your guide to track the
gorillas. The thrill of your encounter will erase the
difficulties of the potentially strenuous trek.
Spend time in awe watching the gorillas go about their
activities. Each encounter is different and has it’s own
rewards, but you are likely to enjoy the close view of adults
feeding, grooming and resting as the youngsters frolic and
swing from vines in a delightfully playful display. Return to
camp exhilarated to relieve the encounter with friends over a
drink. Dinner and overnight at Buhoma Homestead.
Day Nine
Have an early morning nature walk (optional). Visit the
waterfalls, view forest water birds and butterflies and the
tropical forest vegetation.
Return and proceed to Kisoro. Visit Lake Mutanda before
checking-in at your Lodge. Dinner and overnight.
Day Ten
After early breakfast, head for Mountain climbing or Gorilla
trekking (do one activity only) with packed lunch. There are
three extinct volcanoes for physically fit hikers i.e. Mt
Muhabura-4127m, Mt. Sabinyo-3669m and Gahinga-3474m.
Gorilla tracking will take three to eight hours. This is the
most exciting and unforgettable experience, which will take
you through the mountain jungle.
Return for dinner and overnight Kisoro at hotel or drive to
and overnight Kabale depending on the time.
Day Eleven
Early breakfast and drive to Ssese Islands with lunch enroute.
Arrive at Bukakata and cross to Bugala Island by ferry. Dinner
and overnight.
Day Twelve
Early morning nature walk, boat ride (optional) or half day
fishing (optional). Dinner and overnight Ssese Island.
Day Thirteen
After early breakfast drive to Kampala with packed lunch .
Arrive around noon carry out a city tour and then proceed to
Jinja. Dinner and overnight.
Day Fourteen Early breakfast, visit the Source of the Nile,
Bujagali
falls, do a half-day white water rafting (optional) or proceed
to Entebbe and visit the Entebbe Botanical gardens and Uganda
Wildlife Education Centre (UWEC). Have lunch and transfer to
Airport for
homebound flight.
